Now launch the game and check if the problem persists. Click on the "Edit" button in front of it, then click the "add" button and browse to the game's executable file in the game's folder. Once in the Video Decoder's settings, go into "DirectShow control" and find the "Don't use ffdshow in:" setting and make sure it's checked. You should find FFDShow Audio Decoder Configuration as well. For instance, for CCCP it would be Start -> Programs -> Combined Community Codec Pack -> Filters -> FFDShow Video Decoder Configuration. You should be able to find an appropriate link in your codec pack's Start Menu group. To do this, you will need to access ffdshow's settings. If you're using ffdshow (which is included in pretty much every codec pack), try adding add the game's executable to ffdshow's exclusions list - first in just the Video decoder, then, if that doesn't help, the Audio decoder as well. If you find such files, please install the Bink Video Codec and try launching the game afterwards bik files, search for this file type in the game's installation folder. If that doesn't work, please try to install a different codec pack, for example: K-Lite. In case your current codec pack is interfering with the game, uninstall any codec packs you have installed (through Control Panel -> Programs and Features). Thanks to anyone who would make the trouble and did it for me.UNINSTALL YOUR CODEC PACK, RESINTALL THE GAME, INSTALL A DIFFERENT CODEC PACK, IF NEEDED Well, anyway, after trying pretty much everything, I can think of only one another solution - if someone was to use my saves in his game, got over the cutscene, saved and sent it back to me, that should solve the problem, hopefully game will work without any other problems as it did until now. Problem is, these drivers does not support my graphics card (Geforce 9800m GS), and there seems to be no driver version for this laptop edition of the graphic card, only the newer drivers are. I only found out about one other person having the same problem and to him, installing older drivers helped. After the in game cutscene, where Atton explain about the place to others, I can see short part of another cutscene, where there are various races standing along a pathway where the sphere glides and then starts to play some record. Now, after finishing almost all planets, I was about to go to Nar Shaddaa. So far, I did not have any problems at all, everything worked flawlessly on highest details. I made all sorts of stuff to actually make it work and only combination of unofficial 1.0c patch (from the xenon guy), compatibility settings, downloaded msdll and administator rights helped.
